In the early hours, the Scorpio Moon moves into the last degrees of the sign, coming into a sextile aspect with Mars in Virgo and an hour later, Pluto in Capricorn. It’ll be void of course until a little after 4am, when it enters the sign of Sagittarius.
While the moon is void of course starting anything new is probably a bad idea, thankfully as we in the west are getting our day started the moon changes signs and gets us motivated to move. As it gains momentum in mutable fire, the moon will square the sun in Virgo early in the morning. What we didn’t have the energy to do yesterday, we may be able to take it one step at a time, right into fruition today.

The moon square sun is a motivating, activating energy. It activates an issue with the intent to find resolution. Conflicting motivations create internal discord that must be looked at directly and then transcended. So whatever plans you came up with yesterday, today’s the day to take an initial step and then a follow up assessment. The moon squares Saturn later in the a.m., and our desire to move into the new is hindered by the call to handle already established responsibilities. We must work within the confines of existing commitments and limitations for the best chance of success. It’s also how we avoid creating additional problems with our actions.

Venus is still square to Taurus but now, it’s getting a trine aspect from this moon, greatly adding to the temptation to overindulge. Those of us with heavy fire in our charts will need to be very fucking careful of our impulses, because everyone’s likely to over do something today, but there’s a natural tendency toward impulsivity with fire signs that isn’t quite as pronounced with the other signs and this aspect in these signs is impulsive as fuck. Thankfully Jupiter in Taurus likes to take its time with anything pleasurable, so try to channel all the Virgo energy into finding something healthy to scratch your itch, be it food, activity, or the engagement of others.

Mars is still trine to Pluto in Capricorn, motivating us to make changes that are pragmatic in nature. The goal is refinement and improvement with the signs that are activated by these planets. The planets themselves in aspect are calling us to take actions that eliminate falsity & toxicity within and without and attune to a more authentic state of being. This part is individual and Venus retro in leo is where we get into deepter touch with what authenticity looks like for us.
