Collective Cancer Season Outlook

Cancer Season 2023 shows the collective seeking out paths of healing and engaging at the level of emotions with others. The Prince (or Knight) of Cups can often manifest his energy as friendliness or whimsy. An important point to consider is that this character sometimes allows his daydreams to cloud his view of reality. It’s very Cancerian, no? It’ll be important to seek out and participate in grounding environments and activities. The question to ask ourselves for the entire 1st month of summer is this: How can we align our practical actions in ways that offer fulfilment or protect peace.

Apparently, quiet ambivalence to communications may have caused conflict or confusion within the environment. It looks like some of the collective will be experiencing others as selectively generous or downright stingy with their gifts (mental, tangible, or emotional). Regardless of our wishes for feelings to be expressed and love to be around every corner, we very well may have some explaining to do first. Furthermore, our practical efforts to rebuild our foundations and align behaviors with values looks like it’s still in focus. Compassionate words and intentions matter, but get real with how you’re treating yourself and the energy you attract will be easy to reciprocate.

Indeed, it looks like we have our practical pants on this season (thanks to Jupiter in Taurus and Saturn retrograde). However, the Prince of Disks can often move too carefully. So, it’ll be important to allow our emotions to at the very least inform the speed at which we move on our plans. Finally, it seems the stars, cards, and those efforts of ours are starting to balance out. Not without our conscious effort, though…

What’s Gone & Going

Our more superficial connections and activities have been pushed to the wayside in favor of tangible forward movement, healing, and deep verbal exchanges. The collective is looking away from frivolity and toward fulfilment that lasts. Us knights are still learning to work with and sustain the growth of our physical resources, but the determination is there as is the heart. It may have been much easier during Gemini Season to get started and use our confidence and charisma to move us forward. Now, we and those around us are demanding more. We know what we’re capable of. Venus and Mars in Leo are letting everyone else know, too ?. No excuse to slack off. Just slow down a little and act in agreement with your heart.

What emerges

Death suggests a transformation that may be difficult, but ultimately frees us to level up out of stagnant situations. Coming out of the Hanged Man, we are encouraged to adopt a new outlook. The growing pangs are there, but improving our communications and sustaining our mental energy is worth the effort. The collective will turn our eyes toward building the necessary patience to withstand the mundane aspects of manifestation.

As we get practical, keeping our egos in check and our steps steady we find symbiosis with those around us. Staying grounded and willing to communicate clearly but with compassion serves a plethora of mutual benefits. Our discretion and strategic movement will protect us from those unwilling to give as much as they expect to receive. Moreover, they will attract our tribe. Open up, slow down.

Other Aspects to Consider…

• With all these Disks (Pentacles) I can’t help but to suggest that there needs to be some gratitude practice as we pursue physical and emotional satisfaction. Give thanks. Be of service. Encourage someone.
• The 3 of Cups / 5 of Disks combo intuitively looks like We’re clearing out people who engage us at a surface level because they cannot recognize our value. Consider those relationships that provide nothing other than a body in the room. Also, think about clearing out those that drain your energy or encourage escapism.
• The Prince of Cups seems to be pouring his heart into building a supportive foundation with others (the 10 of Disks). That may require channeling our enthusiasm into creative actions (Queen of Wands) that are equal parts pragmatic and sympathetic.
