8/28 Daily Astrology
Moon in Capricorn
-sextile Neptune (5:28 am)
-conjunct Pluto (7:48 am)
Moon enters Aquarius (10:32 am)
-trine Mars (11:39 am)
This Monday morning, we’ll begin the day with the Moon in Capricorn making a sextile to Neptune pretty early, and then a conjunction to Pluto just as everyone is waking up and starting their week. Sensitivity will be high on all fronts and maintaining our material foundations will still be a concern. We’ll be able to get a deeper glimpse into some blind spots as it pertains to practical matters. As the moon joins Pluto in the last degrees of the sign, emotions will intensify. Spending time with loved ones is encouraged. It’s a great time to express our affections in practical ways.
Later in the a.m., the moon moves into Aquarius. As a result, our focus shifts again, helping us clear the emotional fog. Then, we move our attentions into the future, our role in our social groups and toward causes that impact the collective at large. As the afternoon moves in, the Moon makes a trine to Mars, and we are able to use the increase in clarity to strategize effect action that meets our practical needs and keeps us connected to the world around us.
Meanwhile, the Sun is still in a waning opposition to Saturn, currently retrograde in Pisces. The tension many of us still feel between our desire to embark upon new paths of self-improvement and the need to handle existing responsibilities is helped by the moon’s aspects to Pluto, and then the Moon. Today is a good day to channel any difficult emotions in to creating, revising plans, cleaning up our schedules, and shedding any superfluous responsibilities. Tomorrow’s aspects will be asking us to intensify our efforts to move into the now.
Wishing you all a day of health, peace, and joy!
