Aquarius Season Tarot 2024

Welcome to Aquarius Season Tarot & Astro Forecast!

January 20, 2024 – February 18, 2024

Aquarius Season Astrology

The Sun enters the sign of the water bearer on Jan 20, 2024, 9:08AM EST and Aquarius Season begins! Mercury, planet of communications, travel, and all things man- will move out of its shadow phase in Capricorn the same day. Clarity will be increasing beyond the end of the season. Even better, the Aquarius Season Tarot nicely backs up the transits. Aqua is also known for being a sign representing community causes. So, consider what societal issues draw a passionate response. Get informed and involved!

Soon after, Venus, the planet of pleasure, value, and attraction enters Cardinal Earth (Capricorn) on Jan. 23rd. Accordingly, the practical becomes valuable, and achievement is more important to us collectively. There’s a desire to take responsibility for the objects of our affections. But that’s not the last of her movements. Next, we’ll have a full moon at 5°14’ Leo on Jan 25, 2024, 12:53PM EST.  This lunation is going to shine a light on how we relate as individuals to groups we’re associated with. That applies even if we don’t consider ourselves a part of the group. It’ll also expose how aligned our self-expression is with the causes we appear to support. (Remember in Cappy Season, when I said “Let Your Actions Be Your Truth.”)

After that, Mercury will drive into Aquarius on February 5 to intensify the urge to gather information, collaborate and step outside of the box mentally. This is potent energy for learning as much as you can about a specific topic. The full moon will likely inform which direction we should take our educational efforts. Then, we’ll be able to make sense of the season as the New Moon in Aquarius takes place on Feb. 9, 2024, 5:58PM EST.

Just before the last air season of the zodiac year ends, Mars and Venus will move into the sign of Aquarius on February 13th and 16th, respectively. What attracts most of us now is mental report, unorthodox expressions, unusual art, and intelligence. Venus in fixed air is a sapiosexual energy. Mars motivates us to seek out what expands our minds and world view. Issa lotta airy ass energy at play folks. Try to curb some of the superficiality this extreme period will intensify by channeling it into friends, groups, and causes that mean something to you.

This stellium (Mercury, the Moon, Mars, & Venus along with the Sun) will be right on time after the retrograde, we’ll have a short window of opportunity where it’s way easy to clarify our intentions. Too, it’ll help to strategize while we have all this intellectually fixated energy at our disposal. Take some time to learn as much as you can about what touches you at a soul level. Lastly, pen a practical plan to move your desires into the 3D. The new zodiac year is not far away and that’ll be a time for movement. The sun leaves fixed air to enter the last zodiac sign, mutable water on February 18, 2024.

It appears to be a teen or young adult female embracing a glowing light source with both hands. The other 10 cards show various symbolic images interpreted by Kori Woo below the image.

Collective Outlook

As we enter this season, the collective has set its sights on the King of Cups. Emotional control, embodied intuition, grounded emotional foundations and compassion are topping our list of desires. This is high vibe water energy. Additionally, we collectively show up as the 6 of Wands. Bringing this tarot card back into the picture suggests we’ve successfully transcended the reactivation of petty conflict or ego battle from Scorpio’s Season. Now, we are standing out as winners in our lives and those around us are recognizing our power.

Additionally, the 6 of Wands can suggest that those around us are looking to us as examples of success. Act with integrity so that your reputation reflects the best of you. In fact, reflecting the collective energy, we have the 2 of Cups to represent the environment. Others around us are likely looking to connect at an emotional level. To clarify, the 2 of Cups is symbolic of emotional reciprocity, shared intuitive experience, and meeting someone’s vulnerability with our own.

We are getting noticed for how we contribute to the balance around us via actions and behavior. Moreover, others around us are mirroring this energy or serving as examples on how we might improve our expression of it. Interestingly, what gets in our way again is the Knight of Wands from Sagittarius Season. For very few, this might literally be a Sagittarian person. However, for the greater majority, this card symbolizes that we may be impulsively running into the unknown. Too, we’re likely moving too fast no matter the direction.

It may be that all of the attention we’ve been receiving is getting our heads a little inflated. Most notably the tarot representing collective emotions is the Queen of Wands. Confident in what makes her unique, this feminine character knows what gets her noticed, and acts to keep the looks coming. Equally passionate, but more controlled than the Knight, this Queen may be able to slow us down if we take a page out of her book. We can move toward what inspires us steadily, with our heads on straight.

Ultimately, that’s what the collective comes to understand through Aquarius Season. Our efforts to approach our passions with positive expectation, steady, confident action, and courage ensure positive results. There is no need to rush forward. The new comes as we live mindfully in each moment. We heal when we face each day with the intention to do and encourage the best. The message is confirmed by The Star in the spreads “collective approach” position.

What’s Gone & Going

Where moving away from the chaos that conflicts based on ego’s and comparison often intensifies. Having these 5 cards in particular show up together suggests that a harsh battle (5 of Swords) waned slowly and is only now dissipating completely. The 5 of Wands is a less intense expression of the Swords energy.  Specifically, egos are activated, but the embodiment is less aggressive, less harsh. Some cutting words may have triggered many in the collective, or we used our own to wound. Now, having either won a serious argument, or gained some understanding by putting our egos aside and listening for resolution, we’re moving tf on.

What emerges

Nevertheless, The 7 of Wands as an incoming energy indicates we’re not letting our guards down. We know that with positive attention usually comes its opposite and most of us are intent on standing in our personal power, as the card advises. The 7 of Wands has gained a position of superiority. As a result, this character (us or someone we’re close to) must show through actions and their handling of opposition that they deserve the raise in status.  Because we’re approaching the Knight with the Star energy, it seems we’ve learned our lesson. Anticipating positive results without taking positive actions and adopting positive attitudes is asinine.

Should we take heed to the messages in the cards, we do in fact encounter the new and unknown that we were trying to leap toward. The Fool represents the beginner’s mind. In other words, it symbolizes approaching a new experience without preconceived ideas or emotional baggage from the past. While this energy can often show up as naivete, I think in this case it curbs some of the defensiveness of the 7 Wands. It is freedom from what and who interrupts or pollutes our healing efforts. The Fool card can also signify Aries energy. One month to go before we can really pick up speed. Wishing you all a beautiful leap year.

Other Aspects to Consider from the Aquarius Season Tarot …

  • The Knight of Wands as a reaction to the past energies (5 of Swords & Wands) is about conflict avoidance. If we wish to be recognized for our contributions to a person, place, or thing, it does not serve to run away every time someone contradicts us or responds with their ego. Truthfully, that is a natural part of the human experience. It also doesn’t help to go tit-for-tat with someone intent on baiting you for a reaction. A single display of your worst could be projected as the norm.
  • We set our sights on acknowledgement and our actions support the ideal this month. Try not to overdo the dramatics, folks. There’s strong Leo energy this month, but all the planetary energy is in the sign of its opposite. Standing out is great, but standing alongside is awesome also. Show appreciation for those around you and you’ll see they’ve been taking notice too.
